 Post subject: dismantled kukri pics

Hello All , anyone know just out of interest sake if there are any photos from the members of dismantled kukris just to show the fit and fixing of the bolsters and blades into the hilts .

Well Ive done it a few times, a decasde plas ago... & somewhere amongst 15,000 photos I might still have a few, but for your own learning the thing to do is buy a few once good kukri, ideally with badly damaged hilts & very rusty blades, One then chop the hilts in half to see how there made.

Feel free to post pics if you do so! I'm sure others will be delighted.

Its a bit like driving a car, or making love you only truly learn whats truly there to do it if you do it.

The people who look at photos, learn a little.. but think theve learnt a lot. but its not as tangible & informative as the interactive experience. :wink:
