Has a lovely feel and balance to it ,quite similar to a M43 ,has a chunky squarish handle which gives you a very good grip .original scabbard and frog which is always nice to have .

ahhh.... Sorry but here gos... To me it looks like a lovely genune ww2 era mk2, that's been through the hands of the most prolific faker of added stamps known in the uk. Been re stamping genuine kukri for at least 20 years probably much longer.....

Certainly the sa inspectors mark is totally wrong...

Id guess the blade stamp is as well, but pictures not clear enough & ive also only seen 2 genuine ones. can you do an angled close ups of the blade stamp?

The fakers got better over the years, sadly in response to my & others observations of his work.... His been discussed & named on this forum & other forumsmany times years ago....

He does lovely fake engraving & leather work as well, but sadly prefers the buzz of screwing someone over & deceiving them than making & marketing his work as his own.

Guess he has a very low opinion of himself , due to his upbringing & try's to manage it this way to feel better than others.

Although in truth hes less prolific at marketing fake kukri on his own website now than he used to be. But hes re.stamped literally hundreds of kukri over the years.

Hopefully one day he will find a better way to feel good about himself..

Hes quite well known in the dealer scene as an unreliable and poisonous chap although he can apparently charm for short periods of time.

Pure greed driven Vandalism!
It really saddens me to see these are still coming up.
I have one of his attempts bumping the value of an otherwise great Ang Khola.
But hopefully the more that get exposed the better informed the market place will get.

Keep the faith
Captain
