Was just gifted a nice kukri, trying to find out as much about it as possible. Not a single discernible stamp, letter, or number on it that I can find. Anyone know when/where this came from?

I have heard from Khagen Sunchury who tells me "this khukuri is made in our factory in Dharan (east Nepal). 11" World war design wooden handle khukuri. It was made on in between 1990-2000."

Cool, Assuming that infos correct, then its a Nepalese copy of there idea of a ww2 Indian design!

I guess tryingh to copy the so called ww2 military sirupate.

Which workshop does Khagen Sunchury work for?

Many Dharan worshops copy each others designs & even use same workers.

Sadley designs are usualy copied from photos & worn out examples..

Hence its lack of resemblance to the true ww2 pieces...

Mr. Sunchury informs me that he represents the manufactory of Bishwakarma Khukuri Industry, est. 1990 by Mr. Til Bdr. Bishwakarma.
