Just received a so-called "long leaf" from the Atlanta Cutlery Lagan Silikhana stash. Pleased with the general condition, although the original chakmak and karda have obviously been replaced with two modern kardas for some reason.

I love the hand forged look and the rustic and rounded fullers... quite unusual I think!

Thanks for sharing with us!

Looks re handled at sometime... probably many years ago... as riccaso is wider than bolster..

Any pics of the new kardas?

Thank you!

As you say new kardas....

Atlanta cutlery sold loads of modern horn hilted " Officers kardas" at primium prices, as if they they were found in the hoard as well.

I Guess the moral is Arms dealers dont have any....

Hi Bogheathen,
I has the intention to get from AC but now I am put off by your input. I wanted the karda and chakmak to be original too and not new. Did you use the hand select service? IMA also offer the same kukri but different price. What make you decide to get from AC?

BTW, I am also new to this forum but my interest for kukri dated to the 80s. Just no opportunity to access to this wonderful knife in my country. They are ban! Fortunately the law is opening up.
