Can anyone provide links to other forums that have interests in Kukri’s.

I know the blade forum - has Himalayan Imports, and yesterday I signed up to the http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/ which I see a number of you are members of as well. The Sword forum seems to be one my browser does not like as mentioned win10 warns you about going to it.

The focus in this forum has been more military kukri’s Or is that just my impression as all the recent posts tend to relate to this type of Kukri ?

I noticed on the other forums kothimoras Kukri’s are also feature in some posts from members of this site, so do we have a spilt ?

Or does IKRHS interests span all types ?

Cheers,
Scott

Hi Scott
We only ask that the discussion here is of old Kukri and related topics.
The reason that most of the threads here are of military Kukri is that on the whole that's what turns up for sale. Most of them would have gone through the wars literally and come home with servicemen.
As Highlander has also pointed out alot are primarily weapons so most here are of the military persuasion but there are also lots of private purchase kukri wether officer ones or more bazaar types. but we do fully enjoy those made and indeed used in the hillsides of Nepal.
I only have a few villager type kukri in my collection.

Kindest regards
Captain
