 Post subject: Mk2 handle profiles.

Would any of you learned Gentlemen have any idea why a specific design of Kukri, namely, the Mk2, should come with quite different handle profiles, i.e ribbed or not ribbed (no rude jokes please!)
Can someone please supply a photo of a non ribbed handle Mk2 please, as I haven't got one...........Doh!

Location: England.
I guess around 1941 to 42 , so many kukri were needed it was an allowed change to increase production speed and use less timber.
