New to the group and reading some of the old articles some have a box saying to update my account for 3rd party hosting and a web address under this of www.photobucket.com/p500.

Do I need to do something clever to allow me to view some old photos or is it because I am viewing the site from an iPhone ?

For example I am tring to read the article on
The 20th Century British Military Gurkha Issue Kukri and no photos are displayed.

Thanks.

Hi Scott,

No it's not you, Photobucket has pulled all the pics from third party websites unless users pay them a fortune for the privilege. As a result half of the forums on the web now look like that, sadly.

Anyway that some of them can be recovered - just started the journey of collecting and wanted to view some of them.

Is it down to the author I assume to repost ?

Thanks.

Thanks Spiral,

can I put you on the spot and ask if this could be updated viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1201

I got suckered into the classic fake at a UK auction this week before reading the posts here, 1917 CO stamped 37 and lovely rings, I think I just got carried away. Had other Kukri in the lot and a Golok which may save my bacon.

Anyway if it chops wood it will do to make fires with.

Thanks,
Scott
