Hi
Just reading a new thread about a WW1 relic from a sunken ship, this has prompted me to ask if anyone has a bolster going spare.
I know that there must be so many different types and each would be subtly different but if anyone has one I would like to hear from them.
Brief description is
Battalion issue type.
Rattail tang.
2 pin steal heal plate.
I know it's a real long shot but like they say "if you don't ask"................

Anyone able to help it is a real shame to see this kukri in bits.

Look its like a sad puppy in the rescue centre.....
So if anyone has a box of bits and could spare a bolster please PM me.
Take care one and all
Captain

Hi there,

I'm in a similar position and I can't help you with a bolster, but have you read through this tutorial on making one?.

Good luck,
Emanuel

Read it too, but not a metal worker.
Cheers
