And finally, a photo of one of the Samarjung Company soldiers with a good shot of the weapon. Standing guard at the entrance to the Hanuman Dhoka Museum in Kathmandu, with a P-53 Enfield and socket bayonet (as well as loafers, yellow socks and wristwatch :lol: ).

Excelent photo Berk, Id missed that one! realy funny as I was going to post it as I found a copy of it today! Interesting to see early high quality mk.2 in traditional scabbards, looks just like my A.S & sons 1916 mk.2 setup.
