Until now all of the P53 Enfield rifle muskets I have collected are actually Nepalese made copies. A recent gift from an anonymous benefactor has made me the proud owner of this genuine Birmingham-proofed 1862 Tower marked example. It more closely resembles the arms issued to Gurkha troops in the British Indian Army than the Nepalese Army specimens from Lagan Silekhana.

Many thanks to my anonymous benefactor! 8)
